I made this fresh strawberry pie for Mother's Day (yeah, I'm a little slow)... So, so, so good. I just bought a frozen pie shell, which made it really easy. But I am sure it would taste twice as nice with a homemade crust.
I'm making this when we have compant this week! Did you see the reviewer that suggested "painting" the bottom of the crust with melted chocolate before adding the berries?! Should I even attempt it?
